In the event of a pastoral emergency (a death in the family, anointing of the sick, etc.) please contact the parish at 651-484-2708.
Caring for those who are sick is a corporal work of mercy and somethign we value at Saint John's. We have volunteers who work closely with the pastoral minister and the pastor in visiting those parishioners who are not able to attend Mass or other events at the church.
Every Friday, a group of volunteers from Saint John's Church brings Communion to Catholic patients at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. If interested in this ministry, please contact Eric Cooley, pastoral minister, or fill out the information form on this page.
Sometimes sickness strikes or there might be another barrier that prevents a parishioner from attending the church for Mass or other events. Our pastoral minister works closely with these volunteers to arrange for visits and to bring Communion throughout the month to those who request this service. If interested in this ministry, please contact Eric Cooley, pastoral minister, or fill out the information form on this page.
