"Prayer is the place of refuge for every worry, a foundation for cheerfulness, a source of constant happiness, a protection against sadness."
— St. John Chrysostom
Prayer is powerful and God loves for us to bring Him our needs. Supporting each other through prayer is one of the ways we grow in charity. You can either seek prayers or
offer prayers for those in need.
Instructions: To request prayers,
submit a prayer request below. We will review the form for appropriateness, and then publish it accordingly. To support others through prayer, please see the
prayer network.
You can request to have your intention added to the following lists:
Prayers of the Faithful (2 weeks) Names of those who are in a life-threatening crisis, undergoing surgery or other medical testing can be included in the Prayers of the Faithful during weekend Masses. Individuals remain on this list for 2 weeks.
Bulletin Prayer List (2 months) We maintain a list of people we are praying for in the bulletin. These names can be listed by first/last name or first name/last initial. Individuals remain on this list for 2 months but can be extended if need be.
Prayer Network (2 months) Intentions can be shared with our parish
Prayer Network so that our community can begin praying for your intention right away.
Prayer Shawl Ministry The prayer shawl ministry meets monthly to pray, work and bless the shawls they have created. The shawls are presented to people who are hurting in any way to represent God's compassion and healing presence during their time of need. Shawls are distributed through St. John's Hospital and are available through the parish office. I'd like to request a prayer shawl.
