Respect Life Month Events

The Culture of Life Committee has prepared multiple options available for you to learn more, get involved and pray for a respect of all life from conception to natural death:


Respect Life Speaker
Sunday, October 6, Noon
Before converting to Catholicism, Jane sought God in a variety of faith communities, including the Pentecostal Church and a Buddhist monastery.  Now, Jane volunteers through Rachel's Vineyard.  Jane will share testimony of her faith story, her abortions and the unspeakable mercy of our God.  Come and be inspired by Jane Rea as she shares her story.  See the flyer for more details.


Rosary Coast-to-Coast
We are being called to help turn our country back towards God. Through prayer we can change hearts, change families, change our communities and change our country. Americans across the Country are invited to pray the Rosary joining with our International brothers and sisters to pray for our respective nations.  Gather in the Church at 2:30 PM for Eucharistic Adoration, Procession, Rosary and Benediction.  See the flyer for more details.


40 Days for Life
Each day during 40 Days for Life, individuals, churches, families and groups will join together in prayer for the defense of the unborn and the upholding of the Culture of Life.  As a parish, Saint John’s is adopting Oct. 16th to pray outside of Planned Parenthood in St. Paul (Vandalia/University Ave) from 6 AM—6 PM.  Fr. Tom will lead a Prayer Vigil at 5:30 PM.  Please see the flyer for more details.
