The Liturgy Committee is a team of parishioners with varying expertise and skills who help to implement the Church's plan for worship. The ultimate goal for members of the Liturgy Committee is to ensure that the assembly is led to "full, conscious and active participation in the liturgy." (CSL 14) Members must have a love for the liturgy, a willingness to study official liturgical documents, and an understanding of, and love for, the people of Saint John's. In addition, the Liturgy Committee is responsible for planning the art and enviroment of the church.
During season changes (i.e. Advent into Christmas or Lent into Holy Week), help is needed to prepare the environment. No commitment necessary; please join us when you can.
