My child is older than 2nd grade. What should I do?
If your child is in 3rd or 4th grade, we may have him receive with the 2nd grade. If he is older, we may have him receive at a different time. Contact Joe Block for more information.
My child was Baptized as a non-Catholic, but we have been practicing the Catholic faith for a while. What should I do?
There is a very easy solution to this that just involves some basic paperwork and a simple ceremony. Contact Joe Block to discuss.
My child attends faith formation or school at Saint John's, but we are not enrolled as parishioners here. Can he receive with his classmates at Saint John's?
A child receiving First Communion must be attending the Holy Mass each and every Sunday or Holy Day of Obligation. The parish where the child attends Mass (and is registered as a parishioner) is ideally the place he or she should receive First Communion. However, there may be circumstances where this is not the best solution. Contact Joe Block to discuss.
