"Never be afraid of loving Mary too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did." ~St. Maximilian Kolbe
What is "Daughters of Mary?"
Daughters of Mary is a group of middle school girls who are preparing for Confirmation by learning to own their faith as true daughters of the Father, and spiritual daughters of Mary and Joseph. We are guided by the Holy Spirit, and take Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary as our models in serving the Father.
How does it work?
Middle School Youth & their Parents attend two sessions (Confirmation Sponsors, Grandparents, & Older Siblings are invited as well)
Wednesday:
One Wednesday per month, 6:00-7:30 PM.
Sunday:
One Sunday per month. 9:30am-12:30pm
9:30am - Discipleship Sunday

All girls in grades 6-8 are part of small groups to grow in faith and prepare for Confirmation. (See schedule below)
The small groups are led by high school
Core Team members,
Adult Core Team members, and a
NET Catalyst team of young, college age missionaries, who will be joining us 8 times throughout the year!
Confirmation is received in 8th grade only. Female youth in grades 6-7 attend Daughters of Mary but will not participate in the Rite of Election, the Rite of Sending, or Confirmation.
Daughters of Mary needs
Core Team and
Adult Core Team members to help out. Check it out and join us!
We also need chaperones for youth events, parents to bring food and drinks to events, and help with random odd jobs. Email Joe Block at jblock@stjohnsoflc.org to find out great ways you can contribute to this awesome group!
