Saint John's is here to support you in your faith. We are open throughout the week for private prayer and the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Mass (see the schedule below for times). However, we have modified our procedures to comply with the guidelines put forth from the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis in accordance with health experts. View them also by clicking here.
Specifically, we will only have the main church door open for you to enter if you choose to come to the church. All others are temporarily closed. As of July 25, 2020, in accordance with direction from the Archdiocese and in adherance of Gov. Walz's executive order, it is mandatory that all people older than age 2 wear a mask while inside any of our campus buildings. Also, you will be asked to exit through specific doors when you leave the church building. You must sanitize your hands when you arrive onsite, maintain 6 feet distance from non-household groupings and of course if you are sick, exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or care for someone who has COVID-19 do not enter the church building.
We have a rigorous sanitization process in place, though we cannot guarantee a sterile environment. Reflecting the current CDC guidance, we also strongly encourage those who are over the age of 65 or who are especially vulnerable to worship with us via our live-streamed 4:30 PM Saturday Masses, which will continue throughout the pandemic.
Finally, as Archbishop Hebda has repeatedly made clear, the dispensation for Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation remains in effect for the duration of the pandemic. If you would like to see a list of outdoor or parking lot Masses in the archdiocese, please check it out here: https://www.archspm.org/locations/ Please contact the parish with any questions.
